2.0 GENERAL STRUCTURES AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

2.1 Acid Batch Mixer Skid Mounted unit is comprised of the skid frame, batch mixing tank pneumatic system, electrical system, controls, suction manifold, recirculation manifold, boosting manifold and water manifold system.
2.2 Acid Batch Mixer Skid Mounted overall dimensions (L x W x H) are 8000x2700x4000 mm.
2.3 The Acid Batch Mixer Skid Mounted weight: Approximately 17000Kg (When the liquid additive tank is empty).

3.0 SKID FRAME

The skid frame is made of A572 GR50 square pipe. The skid is designed with a drip pan to contain fluid from the tank or manifold. The skid is designed and constructed according to ASME and AWS standards and fitted with integral lifting pad fabricated into the design.

4.0 MOTOR SYSTEM

5.0MANIFOLD SYSTEM

The manifold system is composed of the suction manifold system, recirculation manifold system, boosting manifold system, water manifold system, washing manifold, etc.

The manifold system has two sets of centrifugal pumps for recirculation and boosting. Utilizing the two centrifugal pumps allows for suction from one tank and recirculation into the same tank or the other tank. During recirculating both tanks can realize the injecting mixer negative principle for injecting and mixing. Once the desired density is attained the downstream pumping units can begin discharging by boosting the system.

For proper operation of the manifold system:
• The suction inlet for the recirculation pump must be lower than the tank and main pipelines for the tank & pipeline drains. The layout of pipelines should be reasonable optimal suction performance.
• All the layout of pipelines should be kept as short as possible with smooth bending turns.
• All auxiliary cleaning equipment and washing lines are incorporated for maintenance of the unit.

6.0 BATCH MIXING TANKS

The volume for each of the two mixing tanks is 100 bbl’s.
Each batch mixing tank has an agitator with double rotary vanes with adjustable speeds at 70 ~ 80 RPMs to aid in the prevention of slurry deposits and increase mixing efficiency.
The tank bottom has a sloping design and the discharge port is at the bottom to avoid residual liquid from collecting inside.
Standard manhole lid is incorporated into the top of the storage tank for ease of access.
Each tank is equipped with a fluid level indicator and sensors inside the tank communicate the reading to the HMI on the control console.

7.0 CONTROL SYSTEM

The Control System has the following functions:
A pressure gauge for the pneumatic system, controlling valve for the centrifugal pumps, control switch for agitators, switch for the butterfly valve and readouts for each control on the display. The control console and skid are equipped with operating lights for night operation. The console is fitted with a protective cover; however, the console cover allows for day/night observation. All pneumatic controlling devices and butterfly valves controls are operated from the control console or within close proximity.

8.0 PNEUMATIC SYSTEM

The pneumatic system is comprised of an air tank, relief valve, air dryer, regeneration air tank, pressure relief filter, pneumatic controlling valve actuator and pipelines.

9.0 PAINT TREATMENT

Standard paint treatment requires for the material to be sandblasted, primed with a zinc based primer, a secondary coating and a polyurethane finished coat.
