Global's services are provided to oil companies operating offshore, which are in pursuit of hydrocarbons such as crude oil and natural gas. Once the hydrocarbons are located and prepared for extraction, Global installs a platform and associated pipelines which allow the hydrocarbons to be transported to an onshore refinery for processing into various fuels. These fuels are consumed in the United States and around the world.

Global offers the largest, most diverse fleet of offshore construction vessels in the world, providing services ranging from diving to pipeline and platform installation.
