The Metalock International Association, representing the metalock repair process - worldwide engineering services since 1953. Metalock is the name of the repair process for repairing cracked and fractured cast iron. The Association represents 70 member countries. Providing specialist technical support; training, tools and materials, and research, and the association promotes the Metalock process worldwide.
The Metalock repair process does not use heat, and therefore keeps the integrity of the base metal. Often repairs can be performed in situ, with little or no dismantling. The repair can be completed in days, ensuring minimum production downtime.
