GTA Energy is a geotechnical engineering firm servicing the Marcellus and Utica Shale regions of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. GTA has industry leading experience in design of Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) pavement upgrades for support of drilling traffic. GTA has designed about 800 miles of FDR roadway designs for our energy clients in order to meet the requirements of excess maintenance agreements or road use maintenance agreements (RUMA). GTA also performs soil cement stabilization design services for well pad surfaces and lease roads. Other services that GTA provides include geotechnical exploration and design services for the construction of well pads and impoundments. As of 2015, GTA has been performing well pad geotechnical services for compliance with ODNR horizontal well pad rules. GTA provides construction testing services.
