How To Order

The Rigzone Store has brought together the best products from the best manufacturers, publishers, and distributors operating in the oil & gas industry. We've created a one-stop-shop to make your shopping and buying easy and hassle-free. The Store is divided into logical product categories and sub-categories for casual browsing, and we have implemented a powerful search tool to help you find exactly what you need with lightning speed.

Order Online:
Shopping at Rigzone is simple and safe. Our storewide shopping basket allows you to grab products from any category and any manufacturer as you look around. You can take items out of your cart at any time or you can elect to purchase more of the items you have already placed in your cart. When you are ready to checkout, we offer secure credit card processing for fast, worry-free payment.

So how do you go about shopping at the Rigzone Store? Here's a simple guide:

1. Browse and Search: Browse through our store categories or search for exactly the product you want. You can search by product name, title, author, publisher/manufacturer or ISBN. Just enter your search term in the search box in the upper right corner and hit "find it." If you want a complete list of our categories for quick and easy browsing, click "View All Sections" in the left hand navigation bar.
2. Add to Basket: When you find a product you would like to purchase you will see a "buy" button or an "add to basket" button (on product detail pages). Click either of these buttons and your product will be placed into your shopping basket. To continue shopping simply click the "Continue Shopping" link or click on any of the category links. You can always take products out of your basket (click the "remove" link to the right of the product), and you can change product quantities by placing a new number in the "Quantity" box and clicking the button marked "Update."
3. Checkout: When you have finished your shopping it's time to checkout. If you are on your basket page simply click the large "checkout" button below your basket. If you are on another page in the store you will see your basket contents on the right side of your screen under the heading "your basket." Click the "checkout" link placed directly below your basket contents in the right hand sidebar. You will be taken to your basket page where you can make any final changes, then click the large "checkout" button.
4. Enter Shipping Information: The first checkout screen will ask you for your shipping information. Fill out the form and let us know where your products will be going. Note that we cannot ship to a PO Box
5. Enter Billing Information: The second screen of the checkout process will provide your final product total including tax if applicable and will prompt you for your credit card payment information. You will also need to provide your billing address information for the credit card you are using if it is different from your shipping address. We also need your phone number and e-mail address (your package cannot be shipped without a phone number; your e-mail address will be used to communicate the status of your order). Remember, our checkout process is secured so your credit card data is absolutely safe.
6. Confirm Your Order: The third screen of the checkout process will ask you to verify that your order is correct, your billing information is correct, and your shipping information is correct. Please be sure to carefully verify this information so your order is not delayed. Once your order has been confirmed it will be placed and your credit card will be authorized (your card will not actually be charged until your order is ready to ship). You will receive a confirmation/receipt e-mail with the details of your order.
7. Receive Your Products: Your order will arrive shortly. When your order ships, you will receive an e-mail shipment notice complete with tracking information (when available). Thank you for shopping with the Rigzone Store!
8. Customs/duties for non-U.S orders: Orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the country of destination. The shipping and handling fees charged for the order only cover the costs to move the order from our location to the delivery address. The customer placing the order is considered the importer of record and is responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance. Rigzone cannot predict nor control these charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Create a Quote and Order Offline:
While ordering online with Rigzone is safe, secure, and easy, we understand that some of our customers may wish to order offline in order to obtain necessary approvals or make alternate payment arrangements:

1. Browse and Search: Browse through our store categories or search for exactly the product you want. You can search by product name, title, author, publisher/manufacturer or ISBN. Just enter your search term in the search box in the upper right corner and hit "find it." If you want a complete list of our categories for quick and easy browsing, click "View All Sections" in the left hand navigation bar.
2. Add to Basket: When you find a product you would like to purchase you will see a "buy" button or an "add to basket" button (on product detail pages). Create A Quote: After you have added the products you wish to purchase to your basket, you can simply convert your basket to a quote by clicking the "create a quote" link from the "your basket" section in the right hand sidebar of any page or by clicking the "create a quote" button on the Basket page.
4. Enter Shipping Information: To create your quote, we will just need the address where the items will be shipped so that we can calculate shipping charges and taxes (if applicable). Note that we cannot ship to a PO Box
5. Download, Print, or Email Your Quote: Once your quote is created, you will have options for downloading a PDF version of the quote, emailing the quote to others, and printing a copy of the quote.
6. Purchase Your Quote After you've reviewed your quote and are ready to purchase it, you can do so by clicking the "purchase now" button on the Quote page. You can then select your preferred payment method from the four available options:
   • Pay by Credit Card Online
   • Pay by Credit Card Offline
   • Pay by Check or Money Order
   • Pay by Wire Transfer (wire transfer fee applies)
   and follow the instructions for that payment method.
