UWG is the parent company of a group of companies structured such that the entire life of oilfield is supported, onshore and offshore, from exploration to field planning, development, production and finally abandonment.
The UWG Group comprises UWG Ltd, Team Energy Resources Ltd, QDS Environmental Ltd, 2H Offshore Engineering Ltd and Claxton Engineering Services Ltd.
UWG follows the group philosophy of providing interface engineering solutions. Between drilling and construction disciplines there is often technical uncertainty, unclear lines of responsibility and more importantly opportunity for project cost savings. UWG applies its engineering, project management expertise and products/services to realise these savings on behalf of the client operator.
The company is divided into four business streams which provide world-leading products and services in Design/Project Engineering, Riser Technology, Equipment Sales/Rental and Well Abandonment/Intervention.
The groups acts principally as interface engineering specialists and has aligned a corporate structure that closely emulates the interaction between the operator, construction and drilling companies.
