Topographic was founded in 1958 by John F. Keating, a registered Oklahoma land surveyor. The company has grown from a one man surveying operation, working primarily in Oklahoma, to a group of companies that provide surveying, automated mapping, Global Positioning Systems, Geographic Information Systems and consulting services to a wide variety of clients nationwide. Today, Topographic and its subsidiaries maintain a list of over 800 active clients and employ over 100 people. It is privately owned and remains debt free.
