For over 35 years The Valve Doc has performed industrial valve repair and field repair service locally and nationally. The Valve Doc is an expert in all aspects of machining, valve repair, modification, actuation, welding, etc. We repair Gates, Globes, Checks, Ball, Plug, Butterfly, Stockham Wedge Plugs, Wilson-Snyder Block Valves, Orbit, General Twin Seals, W.K.M. Power seals, Pressure Seal and Blow-down Valves and more.
The Valve Doc has performed field service on all major refineries in Southern California. Locations include, but not limited to: Arco, Ultramar, Texaco, Shell Oil, Unocal, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, GATX, Powerine Oil, Paramount Petroleum. Units where work has been performed, include but not limited to: Cogen Units, coker, crude oil units, cat crackers, hydro crackers, ISO unit, alky unit, HCU, LSFO and hydrogen.
The Valve Doc has conducted seminars at both Shell Oil and Powering Oil, in training employees on "Emergency Valve Repair" in the field. Other locations where work has been performed, include but not limited to: Water and Power Plants: The Gas Co, Edison, L.A. County Sanitation District, D.W.P., etc. Refinery turnarounds are completed ahead of schedule, under budget and without incident.
