TRI-MAX name has been associated with innovative and superior performance of PDC drilling bits. TRI-MAX Industries, Inc. "TMI" was organized to design, develop and manufacture simple, innovative and technically advanced drilling tools to meet the challenges of deep-water and extended reach wells drilling.
TRI-MAX has over a quarter century in the downhole tool business and was the first company to introduce a symmetrical ream while drilling tool more than 5 years ago. The EWD has been run on several BHA configurations including rotary, below a motor for directional work and almost every brand of rotary steerable system on the market. The EWD is simple and strong with its short, mechanical design normally only cutting around 25% of the hole and leaving most of the drilling to the full gauge bit of your choice.
TRI-MAX also has an Expandable Stabilizer for stabilizing while reaming. We also offer Reverse Cyclone Sub for improved hole cleaning especially in deviated wells as well as ROP improvement when run directly above the bit.
