Subsea Technologies Ltd (STL) is led by managing director Drummond Lawson who with technical director Dave McKay formed the company in January 2010 to provide subsea engineering solutions through tailored well control, well intervention and subsea control system applications. We acquired the intellectual property and assets of Lewis Ltd in February 2010, adding the highly- regarded XR Connector and SLIC Connector to the STL portfolio of products. Since STL was formed, we have been supplying products and services to a number of leading blue chip offshore operators and service companies globally, including Aker Solutions, GE Oil & Gas, Halliburton, Helix Energy Solutions Group, Shell and Superior Energy Services. We are based in Aberdeen, UK, with an experienced and dedicated engineering team, together with QA, procurement and extensive workshop and yard facilities. At STL we specialise in taking engineering solutions from concept Front End Engineering Design (FEED), through detailed design, to manufacture and finished product and we can configure and package our technology to integrate into our client's existing system, or deliver an entire new system if required.
