Established in Gdansk, Poland in 1945, Stocznia Polnocna, transferred into Joint Stock Company and since that time is called Stocznia P??nocna S.A. ? Northern Shipyard.
During 55 years of activity, over 800 different types of fishing vessels and naval ships were built and delivered to the owners from Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Syria, Nigeria, Holland, Iceland, Yugoslavia, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Great Britain, Ireland and Poland.
Nowadays shipyard specialises in the construction of different types of civil and naval vessels up to 125 metre length, such as tugboats, platform supply vessels, anchor handling tug supply vessels. What is more, we have great experience in constructing multipurpose cargo container vessels, car-passenger ferries, various types of fishing vessels and partly outfitted hulls of diverse vessels.
Our technical facilities include two launching ways, 400 metre long ouftitting quay. Our facilities let us build vessels up to 65 metre under the roof. We are able to build any kind of construction made of aluminium alloy.
All works are performed under ISO 9001 standards, what let assure our Clients of the best quality we provide.
We can build vessels based on our own designs. There is also possibility to use documentation delivered or chosen by Client.
