SPT Offshore is an independent offshore contractor specialised in suction pile foundations and anchors. SPT Offshore has developed 4 Self Installing Platform (SIP) concepts based on suction pile foundations, which are suitable for topside weights up to 5,000 ton in up to 100 water depths. SIPs are installed using tugs, barges or floaters and are therefore relatively cheap to install. For the mooring of deepwater floating facilities, such as buoys, FPSOs and SPARs, SPT Offshore has developed a very efficient deepwater Suction Embedded Anchor (SEA) having a holding capacity of 100 times its own weight.
