Exports include fuel alcohol and a wide range of industrial chemical products such as solvents, acrylic fibres, ammonia, cresols, fertilizers, 1-hexene, mining explosives accessories and systems, 1-pentene, phenol and waxes.
Sasol?s ability to manufacture synthetic fuels contributes significantly to South Africa's energy supply. The company currently supplies 41% of South Africa's liquid fuel requirements and as a result of the company?s activities, the South African economy benefits substantially.
