Engineering Dynamics Incorporated (EDI) is an engineering software development company. Established by three engineers in 1973, EDI converted aerospace-oriented analytical techniques and computer programs into a single integrated Structural Analysis Computer System (SACS(R)). The system systematically gained worldwide acceptance in the offshore industry, eventually becoming the most widely used computer software for design and analysis of offshore structures. Today, EDI offers the most comprehensive design and analysis software package to the offshore structure design industry in the form of SACS(R). The SACS system is used on every continent and is available as single user and network installations using Windows NT/XP. In addition to the Head Office in the United States, EDI has support representatives in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.
