Started in 1970 and incorporated in 1995, J L Roberts Industries, Inc., dba American Hydraulics offers North Central Texas a full service hydraulic cylinder repair facility with a wide range of capabilities: manufacture hydraulic cylinders built to customer specs for any application; repair hydraulic cylinders and peumatic cylinders; rebuild (remanufacture) or source (MRO or OEM) any hydraulic component used on heavy equipment and machinery today. Hydraulic components include hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, hydraulic actuators, hydraulic valves, hydraulic rams, hydraulic power units for all types of cylinders. We carry a large in-house inventory of fluid sealing and mechanical seals, u-rings, o-rings, gaskets and adapters for most manufactured cylinders. We also have an in-house inventory of metric size tubing and rods for manufacturing or repair of cylinders. Our service facility has (2) 50 foot and (4) 30 foot cylinder test stands, (10) lathes with capabilities up to 32 feet long by 42 inch diameter cylinders, 50hp/100hp and 150hp electric pump motor test stands. Honing capability up to 30 feet long by 23 inches. Full Service Machine Shop. Our field/sales technicians have service trucks and may provide testing, analysis of equipment problems, help with breakdown and delivery. Extra support technicians are available if required. Our field technicians are limited to within 300 miles of the Dallas-Fort Worth area but check with us if you need help - we make exceptions. Roberts Hydraulics is the division created for our internet online website business. So many companies are using the name American Hydraulics as part of their name that we thought it would be confusing and would be hard to find us .
