Rigsmart Systems Inc. specializes in wireless data acquisition and safety systems. The systems provide accurate, reliable information at a glance. Intrinsically safe and built tough, the components are weatherproof, corrosion proof and impact resistant. The Rigsmart System is designed with advanced wireless technology that allows for quick installation, is user friendly and self-diagnosing. Should a failure occur, the driller is immediately notified. The wireless components are ideal for service rigs because they offer few moving parts and install quickly. Rigsmart Systems is currently experiencing an increased level of interest because our systems can be customized and are sold on a component basis. Our most popular component is the Crown Saver. The Rigsmart crown saver system is failsafe. A switch and counterweight are installed at the crown, if the blocks touch the counterweight, the rig throttle is limited, the brakes are engaged and the clutch is disengaged. Additional components include weight indicators tied to throttle limiting, ram indicators, automatic pipe tally and a leveling system. At present, Rigsmart Systems Inc. has a number of systems installed in Alberta, Australia, the Gulf Coast and Venezuela.
