Petroleum Research Center, PAL, has fully equipped high tech facilities that serve the petroleum industry. It provides consulting and analytical services to energy and environment related sectors worldwide.
Independently administered PAL is sponsored by the General Directorate of Petroleum Affairs of T?rkiye and the Middle East Technical University. The academic and research environment of the Middle East Technical University, where this laboratory is located, offers wide range of capabilities for providing integrated solutions to client's problems.
PAL has experienced scientists and modern equipment for core analysis, crude and refined petroleum product analysis, drilling fluid and cement testing, water analysis and gas analysis.
Consulting services include reservoir characterization and evaluation, reserve assessment, petroleum products standard control, drilling and cement technology, development of petroleum management information systems, environmental assessment and control policies, geothermal studies and development.
