PetroActive is a shareware website built by WebTech 2000 Inc. that provides useful activity related data for the petroleum industry. We intend the site to be used by casual users so they can see the benefits of WebTech's solutions. The real potential of WebTech's solution can be realized when we come in-house and integrate all the various proprietary and third party data sets into one centralized system.
Who is WebTech?
WebTech was founded in 1999 to develop Internet applications software. The founders of WebTech are longtime software product developers in the Oil and Gas Industry.
What do they do?
Our core business is to develop applications that deploy and integrate spatial data over the Internet and Intranets. We use Autodesk Mapguide to build web-based GIS data viewers and data distribution tools. Our extensive background knowledge of the Mapguide product aids our suite of tools in the rapid development of effective and integrated solutions. Our approach is to build powerful software aids and tools that help us leverage the power of the Internet and other software products.
