Onyx Consulting Engineers, LLC is a full service engineering consulting firm with offices in New Orleans, Lafayette and Houston, specializing in structural, Mechanical, Process, Electrical and Instrumentation engineering. Onyx had been formed to service the Oil & Gas, Marine, and Petrochemical Industries. Our engineers have experience in offshore, inland, and land based projects. Our Oil & Gas services include feasibility studies for field development, full line of offshore platform engineering and design; pipeline design, fabrication and installation consultation and technical support; MMS permitting, compliance, platform assessments, and verification as a CVA (Certified Verification Agent). Our Marine services include design of terminals, mooring systems; design of cargo barges, derrick barges, and a wide variety of vessel repair and conversions. Our Civil Engineering services include bulk storage tank design, metal buildings, loading systems, pipe support systems, foundations, bridges and roads.
