Seismic Drilling historically has been the core segment of OMNI Energy Services Corp business. It involves the drilling and loading of dynamite source points for seismic projects in the Gulf Coast transition zone, the Rocky Mountain region of the western United States and remote locations of Alaska. Due to the difficult terrain encountered in these areas (often marsh, swamp or mountainous regions), OMNI has assembled one of the largest and most diverse fleets of specialized seismic drilling and transportation equipment in the U.S.
