The PETROBASE 2000 system is a database containing statistics, factual information and tools of analysis related to the potential of offshore petroleum activities in a total of some 70 countries around the world. The system allows for qualitative and quantitative forecast of offshore oil and gas E&P activity levels in relevant countries all over the world. The forecast until 2007 reveals where the market is going, when up and down turns are expected, where geographical changes are predicted and the resulting shifts in technology requirements.
