PipeScrape? provides daily and historical natural gas nominations for over 90 interstate pipelines and 16,000 individual nodes. In early 2006, PowerLytix will introduce its GenBurn? product. GenBurn? will forecast the US natural gas demand arising from the power sector. The forecast can be viewed at a power plant by day level, or aggregated up into gas price point, pipeline, state, or EIA region levels. Included with GenBur?n are two sensitivities testing varying temperature and hydro scenarios on gas demand. The forecasts (both inputs and outputs) are generated using proprietary models built and owned exclusively by PowerLytix.
