Kestrel Energy, Inc. is an oil and gas exploration and production company with an expanding portfolio of exploration and development assets. The Company is focusing particular attention on opportunities in the domestic natural gas sector, as natural gas is becoming an increasingly popular energy source throughout North America. Kestrel has begun aggressive development of a natural gas asset base in Wyoming's prolific Green River Basin. Included in these assets are two drilled and cased wells and the exploration rights to approximately 20,000 acres. A prospect identified within this acreage - the Greens Canyon prospect - has estimated possible reserves of 47 billion cubic feet of gas (BCFG) gross, 33 BCFG net to Kestrel. The first test well on the prospect commenced drilling in mid August of 1999.
