This division conducts research and gives services on a variety of fields mainly on water treatment methods, environmental pollution caused by the petroleum industry, positive & negative effects of microorganisms, air & water pollution, corrosion diagnosis and protective measures, corrosion inhibitors and coatings, cathodic and anodic protection, material selection, mechanical and metallurgical evaluation, and remnant life determination of materials.
