Independent Liquid Terminals Association is an international trade association which represents commercial operators of bulk liquid terminals, aboveground storage tank facilities, and pipeline facilities worldwide. There are 72 ILTA members companies with 457 terminal facilities. ILTA Member terminals interconnect with and provide services to the various modes of bulk liquid carriers, including oceangoing tankers, tank barges, tank trucks, tank rail cars, and pipelines. Commodities handled include chemicals, crude oil, petroleum products, asphalt, animal fats and oils, vegetable oils, molasses, spirits, and fertilizers. ILTA holds its Annual International Operating Conference and Trade Show every June. ILTA has over 300 Supplier Member companies that provide various equipment and services to the industry.
