I.G.S. flat panel displays perform exceptionally well in PC-based systems, and they look good on any desktop. But these displays are not ordinary office-grade PC monitors. Designed in Germany to exacting standards, housed in rugged metal enclosures (except Panther), and fitted with AR-coated strengthened glass screen protectors, these displays meet industry's demands for ruggedness and reliability. In addition, they handle a variety of proprietary video formats associated with RISC workstations mini-computers and industrial controllers that are outside the range of PC monitors. This capability makes them especially attractive as replacements for CRTs in older industrial control systems.
