Horizon Well Logging, LLC, is an investor-owned mud logging and geo-steering company that has been in business since 1988, operating nationally from the Marcellus to the Eagle Ford. We are changing the industry with over 100 degreed geologists providing mud logging, geo-steering and field geological consulting. With 65 trailers and nearly 150 employees, we are one of the largest companies in our industry segment.
Our new, state-of-the-art geo-steering operations center (GOC) sets the industry standard as a center of excellence for steering horizontal wells. Headquartered in Tulsa, we manage geo-steering operations across the nation in a single 24x7x365 facility. Degreed geologists in the field supplement the GOC as necessary at the well site.
Our customers are primarily large independent exploration companies but we also service a number of smaller operators across the country.
