The Geomatics Application Centre (GAC) is located within the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We specialise in producing GPS positions with the highest accuracy and precision. Since 1996 we have been working with partners in providing continuous positioning of offshore platforms for the determination of subsidence rates. We are recognised by others in the GPS field as experts in all sorts of positioning for the oil and gas market.
