Global Portable Buildings, INC. (GPB) manufactures houses and other multi-purpose portable buildings from new 8' x 20' and 8' x 40' ISO standard containers, using state of the art technology. Several uses include off-shore gas and oil drilling rigs worker housing; temporary or emergency housing; construction site offices and worker housing, and much more.
The 8' by 40' units can also be connected together to create dining rooms, clinics, classrooms, etc. For example, ten 40' units connected together will create a portable building 40' x 80' in size.
The finished walls and ceiling are insulated with a 2" rigid foam; if AC power is not available, a gas generator can be shipped inside each unit; solar power is also available as an option. Our durable units require no foundation, and can withstand winds up to 100 mph without anchoring.
GPB is able to produce significant volume at very reasonable prices, especially the "basic" model without the bathroom, kitchen, etc.
