DDS is headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana and in 2006 expanded its operating facilities to Conroe, Texas. In 2007 DDS moved its headquarters to a new 17,500 square foot facility in the SMEDA Industrial Park just South of Lafayette, Louisiana.
DDS has successfully drilled over 200 horizontal wells located in the northeast Texas area known as the Barnett Shale and has completed over 700 horizontal/directional wells in various locations of Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. In 2007 the company drilled the deepest directional well on the Texas Gulf Coast to a depth of approximately 22,000 feet, further establishing the company as a front runner in the industry.
Today Downhole Drilling Services, LLC is an established service organization offering specialized drilling personnel and equipment for horizontal/directional and performance mud motor drilling operations. DDS is committed to providing its customers with safety oriented; cost saving services by utilizing innovative drilling techniques and the latest equipment to out perform the best.
