Commercial Microbiology Ltd (CML) is a global leader in the provision of independent biochemistry, biodegradation management and water management services. CML offer a unique range of services covering all aspects of microbiology impacting the oil/gas industry from topside corrosion, downhole reservoir problems to drinking water issues
The company is a private company and from its early beginnings in 1985 has grown progressively, with offices in Aberdeen and Houston and now employing over 40 staff, most of whom have degrees - including Microbiology, Chemistry, Geology and Engineering.
CML has two major divisions providing services to the oil and gas industry; these are Energy and Health & Hygiene.
The Energy division works in co operation with the operator, integrity/inspection vendor and chemical supplier to deliver systems for management of biodegradation activity and prevention of reservoir souring.
The H & H division provide water management and environmental management services to a variety of sectors within the industry, including offshore platforms and supply vessels.
