Bolt Norge AS is a company that develops and manufactures BONDURA? bolts.
The BONDURA? bolt has a unique design which uses expanding cone sleeves at both ends of the bolt to eliminate play. The bolt also prevents play from re-occurring. Screws are used to push in the cone sleeves, and the bolt is then fixed directly to the machine component. The cone sleeves also prevent the bolt from rotating and sliding out as the cone sleeves expand and create a wedging force between the bolt and support. The bolt can be retightened as the equipment is exposed to wear.
The manufacturer provides screws with drilled holes for lock-wiring. The screws on the BONDURA? Bolt must be lock-wired during assembly for secondary retention. They are good replacement for pins in pin joints with secondary retention incorporated in their design. Typical areas of use are clevis bolts, dolly, top drive, cranes, pipe rack cranes and other pipe- handling equipment.
