Founded in Calgary in 1964, Allied Machinists began as a general repair and servicing shop. It quickly grew, serving customers throughout Alberta, and eventually other parts of Canada and the United States. In 2005, the company changed hands and expanded operations into other areas, including the quickly-expanding field of centrifuge design, production, and repair.
