Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) was established in 1971, to operate in the oil and gas industry in the United Arab Emirates. The Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) supervises the affairs of ADNOC and is responsible for formulating Abu Dhabi petroleum policy and overseeing the operations of the Emirate's oil and gas industry and related industries.
