Jet Drilling (S) Pte. Ltd. “Jet” is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Offshore, Ltd. Initially, Jet was established in 1997 to manage the drillship “Energy Searcher” and has since taken on the management of the full Northern Offshore fleet.
Jet’s most valuable assets are its people. Jet Drilling is located on the 11th floor of the Concourse Tower in Singapore Jet manages all facets of drilling rig management for Northern Offshore, including the following:
- Health, Safety and Environment (HSE): Jet has on its staff trained and qualified HSE managers as Jet considers HSE a number one priority when operating offshore drilling and production vessels.
- Operations and Maintenance: Jet has on its staff a multi-national team of experienced drilling professionals. Led by Roger Goddard, Operations Manager, the operations team takes the view that their primary responsibility is to support the guys on the rig. Most of the operational staff have spent a large amount of their professional career on the rig and therefore know what it takes to provide the proper support to the rig crew.
- Finance and Accounting: Jet has on its staff a solid core of dependable and efficient accountants and financial experts. Led by Shereen Dawson, the accounting group handles all of the accounts for Northern Offshore and all of its subsidiaries including Jet Drilling. The accounting group also manages the risk management policies for Northern Offshore and its subsidiaries.
- Purchasing: Jet manages purchasing for all of the Northern Offshore subsidiaries through its purchasing group in Singapore. The Jet purchasing group goes through great strides to procure the highest quality materials and supplies cost effectively in an effort to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently.
- Human Resources: Jet has qualified and reputable Human Resource professionals that manage the day to day activities of keeping the vessels staffed with the most experienced and proficient rig hands. In these times of increasing demand for qualified the HR group has proven to be an incredible asset to our Jet team.
