Recently, interest has peaked in the vast quantity of untapped natural gas resources in the US, the reserves of which were inventoried in 2008 at 238 Tcf, with producers specifically targeting the nation's promising shale formations for this energy commodity.


Pipelines or tankers deliver crude and refined products to a storage facility called a terminal. Tank farms are terminals with more than one storage tank. These facilities are used to receive and distribute petroleum products within a particular time period. Terminal Managers are responsible for the terminal’s daily activities.
