Recently, interest has peaked in the vast quantity of untapped natural gas resources in the US, the reserves of which were inventoried in 2008 at 238 Tcf, with producers specifically targeting the nation's promising shale formations for this energy commodity.


A control room is an operations control center where the facility can be monitored and controlled. It houses equipment required for operator interface with processes such as electronic displays and control panels. Control room operators monitor, operate and control computerized stations and ensure that every process in the facility is under control and functioning as required.
