Position - Operations and Engineering Manager:

We are seeking a key individual to fill the position of Operations and Engineering Manager. The candidate will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for developing and delivering the company's production, cost, and capital investment targets. The candidate will supervise a team of four engineers and techs who are each responsible for managing the profitability, costs, and capital investment at each of their assigned oil and gas properties. The candidate will also oversee the company's field personnel. The candidate will manage the company's operations and have a broad range of responsibilities including:

Managing lease profitability including production and cost targets. Supervising the company's engineering and operations teams to establish and achieve production and cost targets. Supervise production superintendent and engineers to optimize the production from approximately 300 wells. The candidate will possess strong expertise and understanding of artificial lift designs and optimization as applied to conventional oil wells (particularly rod pump and ESP).

Manage the optimization of waterflood operations including: surface facilities, chemical program, and injection pattern balancing.

Supervise engineers and field personnel in vendor selection, drilling and completion operations at the company's ongoing development program, regulatory filings, and other aspects of the operations department. Optimize completion designs including acidizing and frac stimulations by providing insight and oversight to engineering team, with responsibility for final design sign-off and implementation.

Manage the capital investment process by guiding engineering team in the prioritization of prospective projects. Generate and high-grade investment project list and communicate to the management team.

Coordinate with the business development team to perform due diligence and integrate newly acquired assets.

Coordinate with company regulatory analyst to obtain drilling, salt water disposal, and other state regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in engineering with minimum ten years of experience with an oil and gas operator with exposure to production, drilling, completion operations, and artificial lift design. Experience as a supervisor over a team of engineers and /or field operations personnel highly preferred.

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to work well in a collaborative environment with both management and engineering team.

Self starter who can pro-actively manage production and cost targets and pro-actively communicate with management.

Practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving; hands on worker.

Well organized in order to plan work schedule and logistics for operations and engineering teams.

Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
