ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Ensures paperwork on press matches die number and pressure is set to proper pressure on gauge.
•Ensures that the correct amount of powder is used in dip pans.
•Verifies the correct weight and wall thickness of liners.
•Completes necessary paperwork during production and at the end of each order or at the end of each shift.
•Keeps press and surrounding area clean and free of powder.
•Sweeps floor and wipes off press at end of shift.
•Oils dies as needed and polishes dies as needed if machine is inoperable or being change over to a new order.
•Places single or multiple layers of material on bed of machine.
•Depresses pedal or moves lever to activate ram that forces die through material.
•Removes parts from die or bed of machine.
•Measures parts with rule or compares parts with standard to verify conformance to specifications.
•Stacks parts in storage area according to size and shape.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or six months related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
