Position Summary
Work with the Engineering staff to support the Transmission Control Center. Work as an entry level engineering analyst doing tasks that support the tools, programs, and databases used to perform various operational tasks such as outage coordination, powerflow studies, power system monitoring, and operator training. -Through practical operations experience and mentoring, successful candidate will gain significant professional confidence and people skills.

Minimum Requirements
-Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program (Electrical Engineering Preferred)
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Ability to communicate effectively; both written and verbally
-Must be self- motivated, have good mechanical aptitude, and ability to work well with others

-Course work in power systems and an interest in the power industry desirable

This internship will be a year-round internship where we will work with your school hours.
