Job Summary:
This Sr. Aviation Technician position is located at Anadarko's Houston, TX hangar as a member of the corporate Aviation department. This position is responsible for performing necessary maintenance and inspections on company operated aircraft as required by Anadarko Maintenance & Inspection Programs, government regulations and company policies and procedures. When assigned as flight crewmember, this individual will act as an integral part of the flight crew to perform duties and tasks as specified by company policy and procedures, as well as, the Pilot-In-Command.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of experience related to aircraft maintenance and inspections are required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Responsibilities:

 

 

 

 

  • Performs maintenance on company aircraft.


  • Participates as flight crewmember on company aircraft.


  • Performs aircraft departures and arrivals to include fueling, aircraft preparation and passenger and baggage handling.


  • Oversees maintenance performed on company aircraft by outside contract firms and repair/maintenance facilities as needed.


  • Maintains aircraft logbooks and other required documentation for company aircraft.


  • Performs maintenance on hangar equipment and hangar facility when needed.


  • Assists in fuel farm inspections and maintenance.


  • Assists fuel suppliers with offloading of fuel to the fuel farm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Certifications/Licenses:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Relocation:
This position is not eligible for relocation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 30-40%

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Work Schedule:
