To perform day to day operational activities as outlined in the main tasks
Perform plant operations (field and DCS) in a safe and effective manner to achieve the quality and quantity according to the production plan
Perform start-up, shutdown and emergency activities in accordance with established procedures and instruction
Perform routine field inspection and monitor the assigned units (specific plant area) by taking appropriate action and/or reports any abnormalities observed
Collect samples and perform laboratory analysis as per schedule
Active role in Sustainable Development; adheres and complies towards the continuous improvement of HSE best practices
Identify unsafe act and unsafe conditions; then recommend the suitable corrective action
Work under tight time frame / pressure during start up, shutdown and emergency
Maintain harmonious work environment within the team; practise open communication
Familiar and able to start, operate and stop boiler from DCS and Local Control Panel (LCP) according to plant's need and Shift Supervisor instruction by carryout the task safely and by following the Safe Operating Procedure (SOP).
SPM with Certificate in Process from Institute Technology PETRONAS (INSTEP) or any other recognized institutions or
Diploma in Chemical Engineering from recognized Institutions
Candidate with Boiler Certificate Grade 1 is a compulsory
Having highly proactive attitude, posses drive and commitment towards standard and performance for self
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and a team player
Good proficiency of English, both spoken and written
Minimum working exposure in a process industry in the petrochemical environment with focus on plant operations
