To manage contracts performance for the maintenance and engineering organisation
Leads the standardization, improvement, optimization across all technical services contracts and technical services contractor performance.
Responsible for interfaces and integration across various scope of work to ensure full delivery of technical services to the various maintenance and engineering teams.
Provides overall functional leadership and integrate optimized solutions across functional boundaries. e.g. Procurement, Health Safety Environment, other Maintenance and Engineering teams.
Leads the pre and post award planning and reporting e.g. Contracts Planning, Contract Performance Evaluation Review, Non Conformance Management Review.
Custodian of best practices and lessons learnt for the contractor management discipline and develop guidelines or procedures for implementation.
Other tasks as assigned by Management and Superior.
Degree in Business / Commerce / Technical, Engineering or an equivalent from a recognized college or university. Candidate with Master Degree would be an added advantage
Possess a minimum of 5 years (Masters) or 10 years (Bachelor) experience in managing contractors and contracts in a Petrochemical or Oil and Gas Industry, with minimum 3 years in a leader capacity
Have proven track record in transformation / optimization / change / improvement programs.
Full understanding and application of contracting, management of contracts and contractors in a Petrochemical or Oil and Gas Industry, with specific focus on maintenance and engineering contracts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrate personal effectiveness and characteristics of a self-starter, proactive and strong focus in delivery and results.
Good track record in leading teams and able to contribute effectively within a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly (spoken and written) in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to work under intense pressure in a fast paced environment and deliver within tight deadlines.
Acts as a change agent, demonstrate strong leadership and ability to influence others in difficult situations.
Continuously challenges the 'status quo' with an ability to identify and implement practical short term quick fixes and long term solutions.
