Brief Description:
The primary responsibility of the Field Engineer is to provide technical support to all customers and field personnel in order to obtain proper quality control and quality assurance. The Field Engineer is also responsible for the supervision of the Stimulation Technicians while on site.

This position will work under the direction of the District Engineer.

Detailed Description:
• Provide technical support to Field Operations in the areas of job quality control, on-site calculations, developing procedures, equipment testing, etc.
• Use modeling software for real-time data acquisition, frac designs and analysis
• Troubleshoot any quality control related tasks on-site and any issues related to the fracturing software
• Prepare job reports and regulatory disclosure reports
• Respond to any customer requests while on site
• Assist in any sales, engineering or operations issues, where applicable
• Provide support to the district facilities through involvement in the loading and blending process (cement, acid, sand, and stimulation or cement chemicals), storage of chemicals (emphasis on safety and shelf life of chemicals)
• Mentor trainees who are assigned to their district as they progress through phases and versions of the CrossFlo training program
• Help provide the necessary periodic counseling to ensure that the CrossFlo trainee(s) are completing the assigned tasks

Job Requirements:
• Completion of the CrossFlo program or equivalent
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job including but not limited to working on your feet, climbing ladders, working outdoors, and lifting
• Must have good communication skills
• Possess strong organizational skills and multi-task efficiently
• Ability to operate computers with strong usage in Microsoft office and field software
• Demonstrate clear communication skills including the ability to read, write and speak English as well as understand and promptly follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Flexibility for business related travel for a majority of the time
• Possess strong educational knowledge related to Field Engineering job tasks
• Must be willing to travel to provide technical support

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, MET, Chemical, will consider other engineering degrees as well)
• Must have a valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record for the past 3 years, with no DWI convictions within the past 5 years, and no current DWI charges.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Completion of the CrossFlo program or equivalent
• 2 years of fracturing experience

Additional Details:
This position requires the person to be able to work in a time sensitive role and regularly travel as needed to support business units and visit work sites. It may also require extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) during variable hours. Variable work hours include hours worked on the weekend, on holidays, and hours to travel within and outside of the assigned region. The employee must work with an emphasis on planning, multitasking and prioritization to maximize the efficiency of their work. Must be able to work closely with others and manage all interaction in a professional manner. Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather) and while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
