Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with a leading international organisation providing equipment and services to the global Oil & Gas industry. The organisation has a presence across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
The organisation is seeking to recruit a Regional Director - Asia Pacific based in Singapore to lead the organisations regional operations and sales activities across the Asia Pacific region. This is a strategic leadership position that will report directly into the Vice President Eastern Hemisphere.
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
*Educated with a Master's degree in Engineering or a similarly related respectable subject and hold a Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
*Must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the Oil & Gas sector, preferably within the oilfield services or pipeline services sectors.
*Will have a minimum of 10 years managerial experience including senior leadership positions at a country or regional level with $30Million+ P&L responsibility.
*Must have regional knowledge and network of contacts across Asia Pacific preferably including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and Australia.
*Strong communication, leadership and team working skills.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
*Overall accountability for the organisations operations and sales activities across the Asia Pacific region.
*Responsible for providing leadership and implementing corporate strategy and policies across the organisation at a regional level to ensure strategic objectives are met and achieve customer satisfaction.
*P&L accountability for the regional operation, formulating annual budgets, ensures sales, margins and EBITDA targets and met and monitors capital expenditures to maximize return on investment.
*Identify business opportunities for alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions to ensure continued business growth.
*Develop and implement sales and operational business plans and strategies to achieve long and short term organisational objectives.
*Lead continuous improvement efforts across the business to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
*Ensure that HSE standards and procedures are followed across the regional operations.

Mackenzie Stuart provide a full Search & Selection service to the Oil & Gas sector where we have a strong track record of placing experienced professionals in the Oil & Gas sector with a broad range of clients. We have a team of 8 consultants and 2 researchers that each focus on specialist sub sectors of Oil & Gas where they have built up an understanding of the structure of the sub sector alongside a broad network of contacts. We have a track record of placing individuals in a multitude of disciplines including sales, business development, commercial, operations, engineering, geosciences through to senior level management.

The consultant responsible for the assignment will provide constant consultative advice and feedback throughout the process from initial stages of taking on details of the role through to post placement feedback. This involves updates on sourcing candidates, short listing, arranging interviews with post interview feedback, advice on remuneration and managing the offer / acceptance / termination of previous employment and notice period. We find this close management and consultative advice ensures the client can secure the best candidate, whilst avoiding issues such as counter offers.
