Overview / Responsibilities

Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is seeking a highly talented professional to support proposal efforts in multiple offices in a wide range of disciplines.  The Proposal Coordinator leads proposal planning, presentation, and production efforts by coordinating project teams, developing strategy and delivering high-quality proposals. The position is located in Nashville, TN.


Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking and maintaining project opportunities in Microsoft CRM
  • Participating in proposal strategic development and planning
  • Developing proposal plans, schedules and win themes
  • Setting and meeting realistic milestone schedules and deadlines
  • Coordinating proposal project teams
  • Editing and assembling proposal specific resumes and project descriptions
  • Maintaining a database of resumes and project descriptions
  • Producing quality, professional proposals for a variety of clients
  • Willingness to learn and understand environmental and engineering services
  • “Can-do” work ethic to meet important deadlines

Skills / Qualifications

  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects to meet competing deadlines
  • 10 to 15 years of proposal coordination experience or similar role in an architect / engineering consulting business
  • Experience reviewing solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI) to develop the proposal schedule and assignments
  • Experience with standard government forms (SF330, SF254, SF255)
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe CS3 or CS4 (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, science or related field is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM is a plus
