The Engineering Manager role is accountable for the overall management of technical and asset integrity at QGC's LNG plant on Curtis Island, Gladstone.
In this pivotal senior role, you will be the Assurance Technical Integration Custodian. Not only responsible for managing the core elements of the asset integrity management systems within the LNG Plant operations team you will be responsible for front line engineering support.
Superior skills in collaboration, leadership, HSSE standards development, applying technical assurance processes, communication, negotiation, planning and organising are crucial. We are looking for a creative, commercially-aware professional with the ability to manage and lead the interface of a wide range of disciplines.

Substantial experience in similar role within oil and gas requiring complex problem resolution, budget management, trend identification and OHS leadership is essential. The successful candidate will have formal engineering qualifications and be qualified to Australian Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, strong communication and time management skills, a commitment to safety and a focus on results.               
While upholding QGC’s strong commitment to workplace health and safety this role will call on your excellent communication, interpersonal, client-service, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
We are looking for an inclusive and motivated individual with a successful track record working in engineering operations, your experience should incorporate leading and managing large teams, dealing with complex issues and problem solving in the Oil, Gas, Energy or LNG industries in Australia.
