Position Summary The Facilities Technician is responsible for general building maintenance, including heating and air conditioning systems, plumbing, electrical, vehicles, test tanks, manufacturing, etc. Duties & Responsibilities * Promptly respond to and resolve all facility email requests. Interact with all departments/groups as needed. * Operate forklifts and complete daily checks. Inspect and maintain vehicles. * Conduct regular inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. * Perform preventative maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, sprinklers, and fire/life safety equipment. * Daily interaction with employees, contractors, and vendors. * Maintain the interior and exterior of the building, office area, warehouse/shop yard, and parking lot. * Set up and tear down for all company events. * Move furniture or cubicles as needed to support office and equipment moves. Includes occasional interior painting. * Perform daily cleaning throughout the facility (i.e. cleaning kitchen/break rooms, vacuuming office areas, stocking and cleaning restrooms, sweeping/scrubbing warehouse floor, etc.) * Stock coffee, beverages, and other kitchen supplies. * Maintain inventory of all facility supplies, such as kitchen/paper goods, bathroom supplies, first aid supplies, etc. * Replace light fixtures as needed. * Maintain spare keys. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * 0-2 years of relevant experience. * Basic understanding of facility maintenance, including familiarity with HVAC, electric, and plumbing. Training will be provided. * Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision. * Current driver's license and good driving record required. Must be able to pass DOT physical exam to drive company vehicles. * Ability to complete forklift certification and training. * Ability to answer facility emails quickly and consistently. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
