Ensure completion of mechanical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability.
Embrace preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contribute to their improvement.
Manage and motivate his team, ensure co-ordination and co-operation between his and other departments.

ls responsible for the execution and the quality of maintenance work to be carried out on mechanical equipment, respecting budget, policies and deadlines.
Contribute in his ?eld, to the development of working methods and de?nition of procedures and ensure their implementation.
Optimize maintenance operations, using best available tools and procedures in order to maximize equipment availability.
Ensure proper day-to-day scheduling of works and necessary resources. Assign and review work to perform with the craftsmen.
Ensure completion of major operations within schedule (yearly overhaul).
Ensure, upon completion of repairs, that equipment is in good operating condition, ready to meet operational requirements, fully inspected, tested, clean and safe.
Provide reporting on repair jobs including consumption of materials, speci?c tools, man hours and skills, and ?lls equipment history files.
Take adequate actions when mechanical incidents occur.
Participate in the 3 year investment plan.
Manage his team, de?ne the missions and objectives, carry out their performance reviews, promote the quality of the work, motivate his personnel, facilitate communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy).
Ensure on-going skills enhancement of his team's employees, helping the development and implementation of training plans. Coach his team's employees.
Define his department's needs for budgeting and negotiate them with his manager.
Keep himself informed of general plant practices so as to ensure "on-call" duty.
Ensure working conditions and safety at work.
Ensure and controls quality of maintenance jobs from subcontractors.

Actual costs versus budgeted costs
Technical performance
Increase reliability, specially raw mills, burning lines and cement mills, as well as equipment failure rate.
Increase of Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
Maintenance Practices
Frequency and severity rate of accidents of maintenance personnel and contractors
Maximum reactivity in case of technical incident.

Educational Background & Experience

Technical Engineer or Superior Technician in mechanical engineering + 5 years experience of mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.

English: Intermediate at least.
Technical skills

Basics of production technology of the Company
Production capacity, technical specifications, design features and modes of operation of main and auxiliary equipment, instilled in their operation; Rules of Acceptance of the equipment after installation and repair
The procedure and methods of planning and production of the equipment maintenance of the equipment and repair work
Requirements of environmental legislation, regulations and safety standards and occupational safety and health, fire, industrial health and environmental safety
Basics of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Knowledge of quality management methods.
Computer literacy.
