Under strict supervision, assists in providing service to the customer of Baroid Filtration product line. Utilizes knowledge of company products and experiences with filtration/ completion fluid technology to maximize the service provided to customers. Assists in the operation of some or all of the following equipment: DE filter press, centrifugal pumps, dual pod units, and slurrification equipment. Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school or similar education and at least 1 year of experience as Service Operator I - Baroid Filtration. The ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred. This is the entry level position into the Service Operator job family. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
